Sarah Cassidy and Angela LaGrange Scott were named co-chairs of the United States – Canada (USC) Province Associates Leadership Team.
The Associates Leadership Team (ALT) — new members of which will be named at a later date — works as one body to further the mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart through association and collaboration with the Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) and the Provincial Team of the USC Province. The ALT provides support for Associates groups across the Province as well as seeks to welcome those lay women and men called to live the charism of the Society as an Associate.
The process to choose co-chairs involves a conversation with a nominating committee which includes Religious of the Sacred Heart and the outgoing Associate Co-Chairs. Sarah and Angela began their term as co-chairs on June 16, 2023, the Feast of the Sacred Heart and will serve for a term of three years.
