What is the Cor Unum Legacy Society?

The Cor Unum Legacy Society honors those individuals who have made a planned gift to the Society of the Sacred Heart so that future generations can carry our mission forward.

As a member of the Cor Unum Legacy Society, your name will be listed in our Book of the Heart, remembered in the prayers of the RSCJ in the United States – Canada Province and especially in the daily prayers of our retired sisters in Albany, New York, Framingham, Massachusetts, St. Louis, Missouri, and at Oakwood in Atherton, California.

Will you be writing your will in the near future?

The generosity of our Cor Unum Legacy Society benefactors over time inspires us by sustaining the mission and ministries of the RSCJ and by providing ongoing care of our elder sisters in the decades to come. You may designate a bequest to the Society of the Sacred Heart to where needed most, or to support elder care, RSCJ ministries or select needs of the United States – Canada Province.

Many donors ask us about making a bequest in memory of a family member, friend or an RSCJ. Please contact Anne Wiehagen, director of mission advancement, to discuss a will bequest in honor of or in memory of a loved one.

 

 

Being true to our call to be the love of the Sacred Heart is daunting. Planned gifts of any size offer such encouragement and such hope. Your decision to give in this way will enable us to continue to be the love of the Sacred Heart in the world, quietly and consistently supporting children, young people and adults to grow in dignity as human beings and children of God.
