Members of the United States-Canada Province learned on Tuesday, November 4, that the General Council of the Socieity of the Sacred Heart has asked Barbara Dawson, RSCJ, to accept another mandate as provincial of the United States–Canada Province. "With the generosity, good spirit, faith and commitment which we have come to know in her, she has accepted." The letter went on to thank Sisters Meg Causey, Anne-Marie Conn, Sheila Hammond and Diana Wall "for their gift of self to the life of the province and for the sensitivity, conviction, flexibility, hope, sense of purpose and care for each one with which they have lived their leadership."
