On Friday, May 24, the Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart community recognized and celebrated Marcia O’Dea, RSCJ, and her 50 years of service to the school.
Sister O’Dea wrote in her letter announcing her retirement, “I know I will always treasure the gift I have known in my mission as an RSCJ educator at Forest Ridge... It was my joy for so many years to teach English literature and writing and to work with a faculty intent upon educating the ‘whole student.’”
Forest Ridge is located in Bellevue, Washington. Religious of the Sacred Heart from across the United States – Canada Province joined the school community to celebrate Sister O'Dea.
