Week 01 (March 22-28)

The film Departures tells the story of a young man’s journey through losses and death to new life. He is a cellist and the theme music is poignant and lyrical, perfect for the mixing of emotions of the film. It is available on YouTube and other platforms, but for today I simply offer the theme music with a tasting of the film. Whatever feeling you have today, at some point I think the music will capture it and hopefully you will feel known. Let the music guide you within and then send you forth.
