Week 20 (August 2-8)
Week 20 (August 2-8)
By Bonnie Kearney, RSCJ
“I was hungry and you fed me”
Where do I see hunger today? What do I hunger for in my life?
“I was thirsty and you gave me to drink”
What is parched and dry today and what refreshment can I bring?
“I was a stranger and you welcomed me”
Who are the strangers today? How am I embracing them?
“I was naked and you clothed me”
What seems exposed and what kind of covering do I offer?
“I was in prison and you visited me”
Where do I see imprisonment and why will I go there?
What happened in my visiting: to me? to the other?
“Whatever you did to anyone, you did to me”
As you work through this day, how do you meet Jesus?
